Small-group workshop that meets two times a week for 8-weeks via Zoom. Gentle exercise movements proven effective for falls prevention and relaxation.
With the expert guidance of a trained and certified instructor (from the Tai Chi for Health Institute), you will learn beginning forms for the gentle martial arts exercise of Tai Chi (Sun style). Registered individuals can participate standing or seated. The movements are taught to both left and right sides and with turns to move forward and backward to improve mobility, improve familiarity with ones center of balance, and offers a variety of movement combinations.
This class will meet 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm via Zoom with a mandatory introduction session on Monday, February 2nd and then 2x/week (Mondays and Wednesdays) for 8 consecutive weeks beginning Monday, February 9, 2026 and ending on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, there will be 17 total sessions for this virtual series.
