Tai Chi for Health
With the expert guidance of a trained and certified Instructor (from the Tai Chi for Health Institute), you will learn beginning forms for the gentle martial arts exercise of Tai Chi (Sun style). Participants can participate standing or seated. The movements are taught to both left and right sides and with turns to move forward and backward to improve mobility and offer a variety of combinations.
You will learn 1-2 movements per lesson, progressively leading to completing 6 basic core movements and 6 advanced extension movements. You will also learn breathing techniques to connect mind and body as well as Tai Chi principles relating to improving physical and mental balance.
