How to tell if a scammer is calling, texting, or emailing you. 

Everyone is at risk of being scammed whether by phone call, text, or email. Scammers often reach out with urgency and may try to pressure you into giving money. Following these tips and being alert can help reduce your risk of being scammed:  

  • Purchase from and work with companies you know. 
  • Protect your personal and financial information. 
  • Take your time when making decisions.  
  • Do your research and ask for references. 
  • Stop and ask for help from someone you trust.
